Hi Friends! I’m back 😊
It has been a long time since my
last post for the past three months. Hope you are well and enjoy your day. Anyway,
talking about Economics Development will always be an interesting topic,
especially for those who has strong knowledge and background in Economics.
Although, my background is Business Communication, but I really enthusiast
about that and really want to learn more about Economic especially in National
scale.
Being a “Businessman” is a big
deal for several people, we call them Entrepreneur. But for others, Business is
a “high risk but high return”, it has a similarity in a stock market. But,
don’t worry to start a small sized Business. Because, we never know if we never
try! For several people it may be the best luck. Open job opportunity is an honorable thing. For me, Business is an art which always innovative and needs some
creativity. Running business needs passion for some people. It takes consistency,
perseverance, and “grit” to make it continue for a long time. Grit itself means “believing” that failure is not a permanent condition. It’s very rare
personality, since the mindset of successful people is carrying on from one
failure to another failure without losing an enthusiasm.
Total Entrepreneurs in a country
couldn’t be an absolute benchmark to measure higher income from the country.
But, we might say that higher Entrepreneurs proportion would impact better Economic
development. For example, our country Indonesia has a significant growth for
the percentage of Entrepreneurship starting from 2013 until 2017. That’s good
news and absolutely a good step for the nation. Therefore, Developed Countries
has higher Entrepreneurs proportion rather than Developing Countries.
Statistics from “Ministry of
Cooperative and Small and Medium Sized Enterprises of the Republic of
Indonesia” reveals that Entrepreneurs ratio of Indonesia in 2017 was 3,1%. It
has increased, because in 2016 was only 1,67%. It shows good result, because at
least Indonesia has already reached out the minimum percentage of 2%. Unfortunately,
for the past 2 years, Indonesia’s Entrepreneurs ratio was always below 2%.
Compare with other country, Indonesia’s Entrepreneurship ratio was quite low. In
2017, Malaysia reached 5%, China 10%, Singapore 7%, Japan 11%, and US 12 %. At least, Indonesia’s ratio has a
significance growth from 2016 to 2017.
| Entrepreneurs proportion in Indonesia gradually increased from 2013 to 2017. The least ratio was in 2013 and 2015 which
was 1,56%. Next in 2016, Entrepreneur quantity increased to 1,67%. It can be
clearly seen that the highest proportion was in 2017 which was 3,10%. |
Last but not least, Indonesian Entrepreneurs proportion might be higher for the next year because there are a lot of startup companies and creative industries that has already expanded in Indonesia. Success stories from social media regarding the variety of new creative industries and startup companies steady increase throughout the period. Are you ready to be the next future leader for the nation?
Expect the best! Good luck :)
Sincerely,
Fifi
