Welcoming May, The Month of Mother Mary :)

Hello everyone!!

Today is the first of May, which means special month for Catholics because we are in the "Month of Mother Mary". I'm so excited to share about this special month because it's the best time to get closer to Mother Mary. I don't say that another months are not the best time to do a devotion to Mother Mary but this month (May) and October has its own philosophy for Catholics to respect and receive blessings from Mother Mary.

I'd like to let you know the difference between May and October.
May is known as "the Month of Mother Mary", however October is known as "the Month of Rosary". That's a little bit different between May and October. But, I don't know the exact history about May and October to be established as a Month of Mother Mary and Month of Rosary.

I don't want to get you all wrong, because I'm not a religious person (but just try to be a better one). Last year, I have visited 9 churches to pray the Rosary with my best office-mates : Maria Felicia Diaz Fiera and Imelda Yuliani... Thank you for the memorable journey.

I would like to flashback my own experience with them to remind the amazing journey and tell you about the impact to my life nowadays after conducted that devotion. It changes a lot. Thank you, Mother Mary and God :)

Here is the list of 9 churches that I have visited with my friends on May 2017:

1. Santa Perawan Maria Ratu

2. Santo Yohanes Penginjil

3. Santo Fransiskus Asisi Tebet

4. Santo Ignatius Loyola

5. Santa Maria Fatima

6. Santo Yoseph Matraman

7. Kramat

8. Cathedral Jakarta

9. Theresia Menteng

That's a short summary about my journey with my friends. The impact within this year, I have felt a lot of blessings and salvation from God and Mother Mary this year, especially to solve a problem in life. I really get all the miracles and directions from Mother Mary in my work, relationship with office mates, Stakeholders, and family. Especially, how to accept all the disappointment even rejection in life as a blessings too from God to stay away in an even worst situation.

I believe that my survival in my life until now is because of Mother Mary and God's blessings.

Next, I'm planning to conduct pilgrimage at Mother Mary's cave the location is at Rangkasbitung. Can't wait to send you the update about that.

Thank you for reading my blog, hope you have a great time!!

Sincerely,
Fifi
